This band really knows how to throw a party! Saturday night at Ruoff Music Center was lit up with neon lights, pyro, and loud music courtesy of Five Finger Death Punch (5FDP)! Celebrating 20 years, they brought the crowd together in unity, playing some of their biggest hits.

Lead singer Ivan Moody didn't just sing, he gave a full performance. He came out with different outfits (including his infamous "human face jacket," jewelry, and props, and he generously launched pieces into the crowd for lucky fans (me being one of them)!

One thing I really loved was the way Five Finger Death Punch payed homage to the USA and our military troops. Being a military spouse myself, I had chills. The band did a great job at making our troops feel seen and appreciated, which was total badass.

Zoltan Bathory (founding guitarist) and Andy James (guitar) added a punch to the show, playing a medley of covers of hit rock songs to prove the extent of their true talent! Guitar picks flew into the crowd at every chance they got.

Bassist Chris Kael was in fine form all night, snarling, flipping off, and shooting intimidating looks at fans all night. When Kael whipped his impressive beard dreads, they swung with great force.

Jeremy Spencer (drummer) was elevated high above the stage. Spencer executed a killer drum solo mid-set, and as the beat got faster, spotlights shined off his bass drum, creating a dazzling sight.

At one point, Moody got vulnerable with the crowd for a moment, explaining he doesn't like to sing certain songs that remind him of his past. Then he said, "No, that's all bullsh*t, and launched into "Remember Everything." Either way, we were happy to sing along with him during that time.

This was a memorable concert, and you can really see how much they put into it!
