Dylan Cotrone is a 23-year old who calls Florida home. Admittedly taken aback by the meteoric success of his 2023 Tik Tok cover of Zac Bryan’s “Burn,Burn,Burn,” as only the internet can provide, he immediately realized performing was what he wanted to do and that he had better get to writing some of his own tunes.
During his set in support of The Elovaters, Cotrone covered only one song, Corinne Bailey Rae’s "Put Your Records On." The rest were Cotrone original tunes. Soulful and introspective, they had a laid back, Jack Johnson feel.
Featuring just a guitar and relatable lyrics, Dylan speaks of the struggle to find your purpose, path and passion and relishes his early success as a self-proclaimed “kid in a candy store.” The young man exudes gratitude and potential. He's one to keep an eye on, for sure.
