If you're looking for the epitome of deathcore music, look no further, because Lorna Shore is going to give it to you.
Opening Friday evening for Motionless In White, Lorna Shore walked out on stage in a sea of red flashing lights, setting the stage for a thunderous set. This show had all senses engaged. You could feel the bass in your chest, and were ready to head bang.
Will Ramos (lead vocalist) dashed back and forth through heavy smoke, all while alternating between low, guttural growls and eerie, banshee-like screams. Something that sets Lorna Shore apart from other death metal bands is the way Ramos delivers a scream that resembles a pig squealing. It is piercing enough to cut through the heaviness of the instrumentals. In fact, Ramos' vocals were so intense, that through the heat of the evening, he joked he would win a wet t-shirt contest.
Adam De Micco (lead guitarist), and Andrew O'Connor (guitarist) made the songs feel punishingly heavy, and kept our hearts in our throats. Austin Archey (drummer) really impressed with his rapid-fire drumming, making the beats speed up to intensify the crowd's response.

If you're looking for a show to crowd surf, head bang, or rumble your soul, Lorna Shore is going to hit the spot.
