When The Regrettes took the stage at TCU Amphitheater at White River State Park in Indianapolis, the crowd was already hyped after a high-energy performance from pop-punk trio Games We Play. The excitement grew as lead singer Lydia Night danced her way to the front of the stage, accompanied by bandmates Brooke Dickson on bass, Genessa Gariano on guitar, Drew Thompson on drums, and their guest keyboardist. I could tell from their attitude that we were in for a great show, and I was not disappointed.
The LA-based band, which has been together since 2015, a played a fun set of tunes which ranged from boppy to angsty to angry to melancholy. The vibe was edgy 90s/2000s, edgy and totally danceable. I think we'll be hearing a lot more from The Regrettes...personally, I'm looking forward to that!
