Indianapolis-based The Meridian City claims to be taking over Indiana. It’s a pretty bold claim, but after watching them perform before Marc Broussard’s gig at The Hi-Fi Annex, I admit I can see how that might be possible. The four-piece band was energetic and intense, entertaining the crowd with fresh, original, alt-rock tunes that had people moving and grooving. Keep an eye on these guys – I have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of them!
